Dietary supplement with betaine, pyridoxine and folic acid
Any protein food (meat, diary products, fish, beans) contains amino acids necessary for human body normal function. The most important of them is methionine.
The peculiarity is that it can be absorbed only through producing an interim product - homocysteine. Methionine is synthesized in the body from homocysteine, as well as from one more very important substance – S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine. Thus, a certain amount of homocysteine is always present in the blood. However this amount is strictly monitored by the body since a high level is extremely undesirable. In this connection homocysteine can be compared with another, yet better known organic compound – cholesterol.
The folic acid and betaine in the Tetrardiol product formula promote normal amino acid and homocysteine synthesis.
